Kregia (kreh-gee-ah) Consisting of several large city states in the south. Kregians value their individuality, and freedom from tradition. Rebellious in nature, the Southlands never found any sort of unification under a particular lord. The Commonwealth formed more as a loose agreement between city states. The Southern Lords are all leaders of their cities, some of royal birth, others of a democratic election. Sarcasm and wordplay is a favorite of the people. Some see them as naive for thinking their lose ties can bind them in times of trouble, but whenever the commonwealth seems to be at it's end, through the blessings odds, they come out ahead. There banner is that of a ship with the wings of a pegasus. Often lewd in the worse times, a Kregian enjoys pushing the expectations of decorum. They are the leaders of the seas and the only source of sugarsalt. They have been constantly under threat of the Cult of the Serpent Queen, and have even started a special force called the Talon, after large raptor avians that hunt the local viper population. Kregians are Hedonistic, creative, and aggressively independent.
